AGAINST THE WALL (Lifetime) - Treat Williams ("Everwood") has joined the cast of the drama pilot, about a Chicago policewoman (Rachael Carpani), who causes a rift with her three cop brothers when she decides to join the department's Internal Affairs division. He'll play her father, "an old-school career Chicago cop who is rough around the edges but has a real soft spot for his only daughter until she tells him of her new gig, news that makes him feel hurt and angry." Annie Brunner is behind the Universal Cable Productions-based hour, to be helmed by Dean Parisot.

THE INBETWEENERS (MTV) - The cable channel has ordered its comedy import to pilot. Brad Copeland ("Arrested Development") is behind the half-hour, about "four high school boys who belong to the 'inbetweeners' social class - teens who are not the most cool and popular but not geeky enough to be branded uncool." Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, creators of the U.K. original, are executive producing alongside Lauren Corrao and Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan

MURSES (CBS, New!) - Jake Lentz and David Weinstein have booked a script at the Eye about two male nurses. The multi-camera comedy is set up at CBS Television Studios and New Wave Entertainment with Lentz and Weinstein serving as supervising producers.

SHH... DON'T TELL STEVE (CBS, New!) - Andrew Waller and Mike Gagerman are developing a comedy at the network based on the Twitter feed @shhdontellsteve. Said effort mirrors fellow feed-turned-sitcom @shitmydadsays, in that it revolves around "a guy who secretly Tweets the actions of somebody he lives with (in this case, his jobless, drunken roommate)." CBS Television Studios and Katalyst Films are co-producing the half-hour with the latter's Ashton Kutcher, Jason Goldberg and Karey Burke executive producing. Waller and Gagerman will serve as supervising producers.

UNTITLED JAMIE FOXX PROJECT (FOX) - Todd Yasui, FOX's SVP of late-night, has departed the network to serve as an executive producer/showrunner on the upcoming sketch comedy series. He'll take over from Adam Small and Fax Bahr, who supervised the project's original incarnation. Eric Tannenbaum, Jaime Rucker King, Jamie Foxx, Kim Tannenbaum and Marcus King are the executive producers of the series, which was co-created by Affion Crockett and Carl Jones.
