"INSIDE EDITION" BEGINS ITS 24th SEASON ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2011

-- Moves to Fox Five in NYC in HD on a New Set --

New York, NY - September 12, 2011 - CBS Television Distribution's Inside Edition begins its 24th season as television's longest-running, top-rated and most-honored syndicated newsmagazine on September 12, 2011. Inside Edition is the No. 2 syndicated newsmagazine on the air and has ranked among the top 10 first-run syndicated programs every season for the past 23 years.

This upcoming season, Inside Edition begins broadcasting in HD. With the move to HD, Inside Edition will also have a new look, new graphics, a new set and a new season image campaign to showcase America's most enduring newsmagazine.

In addition to the new look, Inside Edition has switched stations in the following key markets:

· New York City to 12:00 PM, ET on WNYW (FOX FIVE) from WPIX

· West Palm Beach to 7:30 PM, ET on WPEC (ABC) from WPBF 12:30 PM

Inside Edition scored dozens of exclusive, news-making interviews on just about every national story that captured America's attention last year.

Inside Edition's viewers were treated to a week of broadcasts from London for a behind-the-scenes look at the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Kate Middleton. Exclusive interviews ranged from James Hewitt, the former lover of the late Princess Diana, to one of Kate Middleton's best friends from college. Amanda Holden, a judge for "Britain's Got Talent," reported exclusively for Inside Edition giving viewers a unique take on life for the Royals.

Among the many Inside Edition "firsts" last season are: Bristol Palin admitting she forgot to vote in Alaska's hotly contested Senate race; Oprah revealing she wanted to offer a job to Ted Williams -- the homeless man with the golden voice; Elizabeth Edwards' cutting her cheating husband John Edwards out of her will; and blackjack dealer Lisa Weiss apologizing to Anthony Weiner's pregnant wife for "sexting" her husband.

Inside Edition's award-winning investigative unit continued to expose dangerous and unethical practices that directly impact many of our nation's most vulnerable citizens. It was recently cited by the National Press Club for its report on annuity scams directed at the elderly.

The investigative team's other undercover work this past year ranged from catching bicycle thieves in the act to reporting on the illegal slaughter of horses for human consumption. And, not only did the I-Squad go undercover this past season, it went "under" covers with Apollo the bedbug beagle to report on the bedbug epidemic. One popular NY blog called Inside Edition's Apollo "the only cute byproduct of the bedbug crisis."

Inside Edition is anchored by two-time Emmy Award winner Deborah Norville, who joined the newsmagazine in 1995 from CBS News, where she anchored "America Tonight" and reported for "48 Hours," "Street Stories" and "CBS Evening News." Working with Norville is an experienced team of broadcast journalists, overseen by Executive Producer Charles Lachman, with Co-Executive Producer Esther Pessin, Managing Editor Kevin Harry and Senior Producer Brian Hendel.

Inside Edition's Chief Correspondent Jim Moret continues to be in high demand on network and cable news shows for his legal and reporting expertise on various stories from Lindsay Lohan to Casey Anthony.

Other members of the Inside Edition team are the show's noted Investigative Unit headed by Senior Producer Bob Read and Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero; correspondents Diane McInerney, Paul Boyd, Les Trent and Megan Alexander. Boyd and McInerney are also the co-anchors of Inside Edition Weekend.

Inside Edition is produced daily at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City and produced and distributed by CBS Television Distribution, a unit of CBS Corp.
