Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

GAFFIGAN (CBS/Sony; W: Jim Gaffigan & Peter Tolan; D: TBA) - Ashley Williams ("How I Met Your Mother") has joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about a husband (Jim Gaffigan) and wife trying to raise their five kids in a New York two-bedroom apartment. She'll play the aforementioned wife, Jeannie, "a super-wife and super-mom, possessing a seemingly unlimited storehouse of energy, encouragement, patience and good humor." Mira Sorvino filled said role in the original pilot last season. Tongayi Chirisa also stars. (Deadline.com)

GALAVANT (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Dan Fogelman; D: TBA) - Joshua Sasse, Karen David, Mallory Jansen and Luke Youngblood have all joined the cast of the comedy pilot, about handsome Prince Galavant (Sasse), "a classic once-upon-a-time hero, complete with sword, horse, great hair, courage, mad skills (like dragon-slaying and helping the poor) and his quest for revenge over the evil King Richard who stole his one true love, the beautiful Madalena (Janesen). To Galavant's shock, Madalena decided she prefers the King and his wealth and power to the love of penniless Galavant." David then will play Isabella, "a princess and the daughter of the King and Queen of Valencia, whose country has been conquered by King Richard, and she seeks out Galavant"; while Youngblood is set as Sid, "Galavant's squire, who's doing his best to get the drunken, broke Galavant to get back in the saddle again after the heartbreak of Madalena." Vinnie Jones also stars. (Deadline.com)

TOP OF THE MORNING (Lifetime, New!) - The cable channel is developing a docudrama based on Brian Stelter's book of the same name, subtitled "Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV," which chronicled the rise of "Good Morning America" and the fall of "Today." DiGa Vision's Liz Gateley and Tony DiSantos are executive producing the project. The search is underway for a writer. (TVNewser.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Annie Mumolo will recur on NBC's "About a Boy" as Laurie, the wife of Will's (David Walton) best friend Andy (Al Madrigal), a role played by Anjelah Johnson in the original pilot (Deadline.com); Diane Neal will likewise succeed Elizabeth Rohm on Starz's "Power" as Cynthia Sheridan, "who works for Vogue magazine and is also working with Ghost (Omari Hardwick) and his club to host a blowout party for her boss" (Deadline.com); original "The Walking Dead" showrunner Frank Darabont has filed a lawsuit against AMC over lost profits due to "an unrealistically low license fee" and being "wrongfully terminated from the show" (Deadline.com); Steven Yeun will lend his voice to "American Dad" as Charles, "the assistant to Vincent, whose parents were murdered in the last installment of animated comedy's saga known as 'The Golden Turd'" (EW.com); and Serinda Swan will drop by "The Tomorrow People" as "a bank-robbing paranormal who is the most powerful breakout on the planet" (THR.com).
