Coaches Shakira and Usher Set to Sing With Their Respective Teams on Tuesday's Show

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. - April 24, 2014 - British pop/rock/r&b band Rixton will perform live on the Monday, April 28 telecast of NBC's Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice."

Coaches Shakira and Usher will perform a song with their respective teams on the Tuesday show.

The four-man band - Jake Roche, Danny Wilkin, Charley Bagnall and Lewi Morgan - hail from Manchester, England. The group made its U.S. debut with its current EP, "Me and My Broken Heart," and will sing the album's title song on "The Voice."

Named by MTV as a 2014 artist to watch, Rixton is set to perform on the "Today" show May 28 and will also make stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago and New York to perform sold-out shows as part of their current American tour.

The Monday edition of "The Voice" ranks as the season's #1 unscripted series on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, averaging a 4.8 rating, 13 share and 15.0 million viewers in "most current" averages from Nielsen Media Research through the season's first 30 weeks. In adults 18-49, the Monday telecast is the season's #2 entertainment program on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox, behind only CBS's "The Big Bang Theory."

Tuesday's "Voice" is averaging a 4.4/13 in 18-49 and 14.2 million viewers overall and has led NBC to 20 finishes of #1 or tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks on Tuesday nights this season, the most Tuesday wins for NBC in a season in the history of Nielsen's current People Meter sample.

"The Voice" is a presentation of Mark Burnett's One Three Inc., Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner Horizon Television. The series was created by John de Mol, who serves as executive producer along with Burnett, Audrey Morrissey, Stijn Bakkers and Lee Metzger.
