HUNTED (Freeform, New!) - Hugh Sterbakov (Hell and Back) is developing a potential drama at the cable channel which "follows a young mother on the run following the murder of her husband." MIRANDA'S RIGHTS (NBC/Universal; W: Katie Lovejoy; D: TBA) - Katie Lovejoy's drama - about "an idealistic group of lawyers who not only work together but live together at their start-up firm" - has scored a pilot commitment from the Peacock. John Glenn Entertainment's John Glenn is executive producing while Lovejoy serves as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)

SHUT EYE (Hulu/TriStar; W: Les Bohem; D: TBA) - Susan Misner and Emmanuelle Chriqui have both been cast in the Jeffrey Donovan-led drama, about Charlie Haverford, a failed magician who now works as a psychic/conman overseeing a number of fortune telling parlors in Los Angeles. Employed for many years by a Romani kingpin, Charlie's life is stifled and going nowhere until a blow to the head jars him into a new mindset and makes him question everything he has ever believed. When his wife urges him to break out on his own, he's careful - because he knows that one wrong move will land him in a shallow grave. Misner will play Dr. Nora White, a neuroscientist; with Chriqui as Gina, a hypnotist. (Deadline.com)

SUPERIOR DONUTS (CBS, New!) - A multi-camera comedy based on the play by Tracy Letts - which "follows the relationship between the owner of a donut shop, his new young employee and their patrons in a gentrifying neighborhood of Chicago" - has been ordered to pilot by the Eye. TRAIL, THE (NBC/WBT; W: Jeff Astrof & Matt Miller; D: TBA) - The single-camera comedy - a spoof of crime documentaries about the arrest and trial of a beloved poetry professor from a small town in South Carolina, who is accused of brutally murdering his wife, and the young Northeastern lawyer hired to defend him - is the latest heading to pilot at the Peacock. (Deadline.com)
