ANATOMY OF A SCANDAL (Netflix) - The streaming service's adaptation of Sarah Vaughan's international bestselling novel has cast Sienna Miller as Sophie Whitehouse, "the Oxford graduate, a wife and a mother of two whose perfectly charmed life is about to implode"; Michelle Dockery as Kate Woodcroft, QC, "the steely criminal barrister specializing in prosecuting sexual crimes who's risen quickly in her field, and just got handed the case of a lifetime"; and Rupert Friend as James Whitehouse, "the ambitious and charismatic junior minister who has always shared his wife's good fortune - until now." BATWOMAN (The CW) - Leah Gibson and Nathan Owens will recur on the show's sophomore run as Tatiana (aka "The Whisper"), "a skilled assassin, unflappable and cold as ice in the face of danger"; and Ocean, "a zen gardner and thinker with a complicated past." (Deadline.com)
BERLANTI PRODUCTIONS SERIES (Various) - The company's "The Flight Attendant," "Batwoman," "Riverdale" are already filming, while start dates have been set for "Supergirl" and "All American" on September 28, "The Flash" on October 1, and "DC's Legends of Tomorrow on October 5. They'll be followed by "Titans," "Superman & Lois," and "Kung Fu" in mid-October (exact dates TBA) with "DC's Stargirl" due at the end of October and "Doom Patrol" in January. No dates were indicated for "Black Lightning," "Prodigal Son" and "You" while production has presumably been completed on the final episodes of "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina." (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO MED (NBC) - Tehmina Sunny will recur on the new season as Sabeena Virani: "Supervising a clinical trial for a new medication, Dr. Virani approaches Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) to lead the project." (Deadline.com)
DIRTY DIANA (Amazon, New!) - Demi Moore is attached to star in a small screen take on her, Shana Feste and Jennifer Besser's podcast, which "explores how two partners can find their way back to each other through perseverance, connection, and sex." Feste will direct and executive produce alongside co-writer Besser via their Quiet Girl Productions banner. Moore; QCode's Rob Herting; Automatik's Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Fred Berger and Justin Levy; and Jason Weinberg will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
KOMINSKY METHOD, THE (Netflix) - Alan Arkin's Norman Newlander has opted not to return for the show's third and final season. His role will be "written off in its planned storyline." (Deadline.com)

SPY IN THE HOUSE OF LOVE, A (Amazon, New!) - Francesca Sloane is developing a half-hour series at Amazon Studios based on the groundbreaking works of erotica's founding mother Anaïs Nin. The contemporary project, part of Sloane's new overall deal at the company, "follows Sabina - young, French and newly transplanted in New York - on a provocative journey to self-discovery."
