CONNERS, THE (ABC) - Tony Cavalero has booked a recurring role on the series as Aldo, "Harris' (Emma Kenney) older boyfriend, in a multi-episode arc. Aldo is a veteran tattoo artist at the shop where she works and a single dad to two young boys, ages 10-12." (Deadline.com)
CRUEL INTENTIONS (IMDb TV, New!) - Phoebe Fisher and Sara Goodman are the latest looking to bring the cult 1999 movie to the small screen, this time at IMDb TV: "In this new incarnation of the premise, which is rooted in the novel Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos, two ruthless step siblings will do anything to stay on top. In this case, of the Greek life hierarchy at an elite Washington, D.C. college. After a brutal hazing incident threatens the entire Panhellenic system, they'll do whatever's necessary to preserve their power and reputations - even seduce the daughter of the Vice President of the United States." Sony Pictures Television, Amazon Studios, Original Film and Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment are behind the project with Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Andrea Iervolino, Monica Bacardi and Bruce Mellon likewise executive producing. NBC previously filmed a pilot in 2016 while FOX shuttered the re-imagined prequel series "Manchester Prep" in 1999 before it aired. (Deadline.com)

GIRL FROM PLAINVILLE, THE (Hulu) - The Elle Fanning-led drama has tapped the following for recurring roles: Peter Gerety as Conrad Roy, Sr., "the patriarch of the Roy family"; Michael Mosley as Joseph Cataldo, "the attorney representing Michelle Carter"; Ella Kennedy Davis as Sydney Roy, "Coco's younger sister"; Pearl Amanda Dickson as Susie Pierce, "who meets Michelle at a softball tournament"; Kylie Liya Page as Cassie Wilkins, "a 'friend' from Michelle's school"; and Jeff Wahlberg as Rob Mahoney, "Coco's closest friend." LAST POLICE, THE (FOX) - Blu Hunt, Reno Wilson, Maximiliano Hernandez, Dawnn Lewis, Derek Phillips, Courtney Dietz and Troy Kotsur have been set as the principal cast of writer/director Kyle Killen's drama pilot, in which "as an asteroid races toward an apocalyptic collision with Earth, MacKenzie Ward (Hunt), a small-town police detective believes she's been chosen to save humanity, while her cynical partner David Duran (Wilson) can't decide what he'll enjoy more: her delusional failure, or the end of the world itself." Lewis portrays Chief Sharon Ward, while Phillips is Detective Reg Butler, Hernandez is Detective Alvaro Diaz, Dietz is Beth Hubbard and Kotsur is Gus Severnson. SECRETS OF SULPHUR SPRINGS (Disney Channel) - Johari Washington, Ethan Hutchinson, Eugene Byrd, Kenneisha Thompson and Robert Manning, Jr. have all joined the cast of the show's second season, due in January. They'll join returning season one series regulars Josh Braaten, Kelly Frye, Landon Gordon, Madeleine McGraw and Diandra Lyle. (Variety.com)
SOPRANOS, THE (HBO) - Creator David Chase, whose prequel feature "The Many Saints of Newark" drops today, has signed a five-year, first-look deal with WarnerMedia. (Deadline.com)
SUPERMAN & LOIS (The CW) - Ian Bohen has landed a recurring role on the series' sophomore season as Lt. Mitch Anderson, "the metaphorical 'new sheriff in town' at the DOD. His worldview divides into two types - those you serve and those who serve you.
