9-1-1/AMERICAN HOUSEWIFE/ROOKIE, THE (Various) - Disney Media Entertainment and Distribution has cleared all three series for syndicated runs this fall on stations covering 95% of the U.S. "American Housewife" will air seven days a week beginning September 12, while weekend telecasts of "9-1-1" and "The Rookie" will begin September 17. ALL AMERICAN: HOMECOMING (The CW) - Rhoyle Ivy King's Nathaniel Hardin has been promoted to regular for the series' sophomore run. (Deadline.com)
EAST OF EDEN (Netflix, New!) - Florence Pugh is attached to star in a limited series adaptation of John Steinbeck's classic novel at the streamer, billed as "an intimate portrait of the Trask family against the backdrop of huge historical forces." Zoe Kazan is spearheading the project for Anonymous Content and Endeavor Content with Pugh as a co-producer. (Deadline.com)
MOST HATED MAN ON THE INTERNET, THE (Netflix, New!) - The streamer has commissioned a three-part documentary series, due on July 27, which "will tell the story of a woman who went against Hunter Moore, a self-proclaimed "professional life ruiner" after after nude photos of her daughter were posted online. Moore found fame in the early 2010s by founding IsAnyoneUp.com, a notorious 'revenge porn' hub. The site posted explicit photos of women and men, often without their permission and with devastating results. He built a cult following of those who hung on his every move." Alex Marengo and Adam Hawkins are the executive producers for Raw TV while Rob Miller directs, Vikki Miller produces and Nimira Velji is the line producer. (Deadline.com)
NATIONAL TREASURE (Disney+) - Jacob Vargas will recur on the upcoming feature-turned-TV series as "a rugged, treasure-obsessed, adventurous soul with a good sense of humor." (Deadline.com)
SHERRI SHEPHERD SHOW, THE (Syndication) - Sherri Shepherd's new daytime talk show is formally a go on stations covering more than 97% of the U.S. beginning Monday, September 12. (Deadline.com)
TRYING (Apple TV+) - Chris Sussman, former Director of UK Scripted for Netflix, is in talks to join the series' potential fourth season as an executive producer. (Deadline.com)
WILD LIFE (HBO Max) - The Izabella Alvarez-led comedy pilot has cast Nadine Velazquez as "Ciara's mother who is trying to navigate the new world of being a single parent"; Annie Funke as Bev, "the program director at the New Dawn Animal Sanctuary"; Nabeel Muscatwalla as Ponzi, "nicknamed by his classmates after being caught running a Ponzi scheme at Eastwood High School (known at home as Adesh)"; Ava Lalezarzadeh as Ally, "a hypercompetitive student with a need to succeed"; Brielle Barbusca as Teal, "a disorganized, anxious, and frantic student"; Cyrus Arnold as Hackett, "a highly sensitive and soft-spoken gentle giant who wouldn't even harm a spider"; Jessi Case as Kaci, "Ciara's nemesis since childhood"; Chrystal Campbell as Kelz, "an overconfident diva with an inflated sense of worth"; and Beau Minniear as Nino, "the high school bad boy who always shows up late to class."
