LOL: LAST ONE LAUGHING CANADA (Amazon) - Host Jay Baruchel has signed a first-look deal with Boat Rocker's Insight Productions, the company behind the series. (Deadline.com)
MODERN LOVE AMSTERDAM (Amazon, New!) - The streamer has greenlighted another localized version of the anthology series, based on a popular column from The New York Times, this time set in the Netherlands. Robert Alberdingk Thijm is the showrunner of the project with Sabine Brian producing for NL Film. Mijke de Jong, Boudewijn Koole, Mischa Kamp, Mustafa Duygulu, and Norbert ter Hall are the directors with Roos Ouwehand, Maud Wiemeijer, Anne Barnhoorn, and Esther Duysker also among the writers. SUPERMAN & LOIS (The CW) - Co-star Jordan Elsass will not return for the show's upcoming third season. "Jordan Elsass has notified the Studio that he will not be returning to Superman & Lois for season three due to personal reasons," producer Warner Bros. Television said in a statement. "The role of Jonathan Kent will be recast." (Deadline.com)
