DUNE: THE SISTERHOOD (Max) - Olivia Williams and Jodhi May have both joined the cast of the spin-off TV series. Williams will succeed Shirley Henderson as Tula Harkonnen while May will take over as Natalya from Indira Varma, who is bowing out after a scheduling conflict. Additionally, Anna Foerster will direct multiple episodes including the premiere. Johan Renck previously exited as the lead director. (Deadline.com)
RAID THE CAGE (CBS, New!) - The Eye has landed a domestic take on the Israeli game show format, detailed as follows: "Raid The Cage features two teams of two facing off to grab-and-go with prizes from the Cage before their time runs out and the doors close. Correctly answering questions adds seconds to the clock, giving teammates more time to grab prizes from the Cage. After three rounds, the team who banks the highest total dollar value in prizes wins the game, keeps what they have grabbed so far and plays the final round for even bigger prizes including a car." Sony Pictures Television is behind the project with Jack Martin serving as executive producer. (Deadline.com)
SINGLE DRUNK FEMALE/WATCHFUL EYE, THE (Freeform) - The cable channel has pulled the plug on both series. The former comedy ran for two seasons while the latter drama wrapped its freshman run in March. (Deadline.com)
