"Models" and "Dolls" Lift The CW to Second on Wednesday in Key Demos

March 22, 2007 (Burbank, California) - The CW's hit "America's Next Top Model" once again ranked first from 8-9:00p.m. with adults 18-34 (3.1/10-tie), women 18-34 (5.4/15), teens (2.8/10), female teens (4.7/16), according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Wednesday, March 21. "Top Model" beat both ABC and NBC in adults 18-49 (2.5/7) and women 18-49 (4.0/11).

"Top Model" posted The CW's best ratings in the time period since the finale of "Top Model" 7 back on Dec. 6, 2006 in adults 18-34, women 18-34, adults 18-49 and women 18-49.

"Top Model" scored week-to-week increases of 7% in adults 18-34, 17% in women 18-34, 4% in adults 18-49 and 8% in women 18-49.

Once again, The CW's latest hit "Pussycat Dolls" encore outperformed its Tuesday original telecast by 12% in women 18-34 (2.9/7) and 16% in women 18-49 (2.2/5).

The "Pussycat Dolls" encore topped the big 3 in teens (1.9/6) and female teens (3.1/10) and beat ABC and NBC in women 18-34 (2.9/7). The "Pussycat Dolls" repeat outperformed NBC's original "Crossing Jordan" in adults 18-34 (1.8/5) and women 18-49 (2.2/5).

Overall, The CW ranked second on Wednesday in women 18-34 (4.1/11), teens (2.4/8) and female teens (3.9/13), behind only Fox. The CW also topped ABC and NBC from 8-10pm in adults 18-34 (2.5/7) and women 18-49 (3.1/8).

The CW's Wednesday continues to outpace both UPN and WB a year ago (3/22/06) in all key demos. Compared to The WB, The CW is up 150% in adults 18-34, 193% in women 18-34, 122% in adults 18-49 and 182% in women 18-49. Versus UPN's year ago, The CW improved 25% in adults 18-34, 28% in women 18-34, 11% in adults 18-49 and 24% in women 18-49.
