CBS UNWRAPS A CHRISTMAS WEEK WIN IN VIEWERS

CBS Is A Strong Second In Key Demographics

Saturday's NFL Saturday Night Special "New England Patriots at New York Giants" Gives CBS Its Best Saturday Primetime Deliveries in Nearly Two Years

"CSI," "Without a Trace," "CSI: NY" and "Criminal Minds" are the Week's Top Scripted Programs

"The Amazing Race 12" Hits the Mat in the Top 10

CBS placed first in viewers during Christmas week with the top four scripted programs, a top 10 finish for THE AMAZING RACE 12 and the Network's best Saturday primetime deliveries in nearly two years courtesy of its NFL simulcast of the New England Patriots at New York Giants, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Dec. 30, week 14 of the 2007-2008 television year.

Rebroadcasts of CSI, WITHOUT A TRACE, CSI: NY and CRIMINAL MINDS were the week's top four scripted programs.

For the week in viewers, CBS (8.56m) topped NBC (8.21m), FOX (6.06m) and ABC (5.21m). Season-to-date, CBS is first in viewers (11.62m), ahead of ABC (10.41m), NBC (8.68m) and FOX (8.45m).

For the week in key demographics, CBS was second in both adults 25-54 (2.9/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07). Compared to the same week last year (which included New Year's Eve), CBS was up +1% in viewers, +4% in adults 25-54 and +10% in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS is first in adults 25-54 (4.2/10) and second in adults 18-49 (3.3/09, only -0.1 behind ABC).

For the week in households, CBS (5.3/10) was +4% ahead of NBC (5.1/09), +47% ahead of FOX (3.6/07) and +61% ahead of ABC (3.3/06). Season-to-date, CBS is first (7.4/12), +9% ahead of ABC (6.8/11), +35% ahead of NBC (5.5/09) and +42% ahead of FOX (5.2/08).

? CRIMINAL MINDS SPECIAL (R) (S) was first in households (5.9/10), viewers (8.97m) and adults 25-54 (2.7/07) in its special Wednesday time period.

? THE KENNEDY CENTER HONORS (S) (9:00-11:00 PM) was second in households (4.1/07), viewers (6.22m), adults 25-54 (1.6/04) and adults 18-49 (1.2/03).

? CSI: NY SPECIAL (R) (S) was first in households (6.0/10), viewers (9.49m), adults 25-54 (2.8/08) and adults 18-49 (2.1/07) in its special Thursday time period.

? CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION (R) (9:00-10:01 PM) was first in households (7.0/12), viewers (10.69m), adults 25-54 (3.5/09) and adults 18-49 (2.6/07).

? WITHOUT A TRACE (R) (10:01-11:00 PM) was first in households (6.9/12), viewers (10.54m), adults 25-54 (3.4/09) and adults 18-49 (2.6/08).

? NFL SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL "New England Patriots at New York Giants" (S), was first Saturday in households, viewers, key men and key adult demographics from 8:00-11:00 PM. The NFL SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL scored an 8.7/15 in households with 15.68m viewers, 6.1/15 in adults 25-54, 5.3/15 in adults 18-49, 4.0/14 in adults 18-34, 7.7/18 in men 25-54, 6.6/18 in men 18-49 and 5.0/16 in men 18-34 from 8:16-11:29 PM.

-- From 8:00-11:00 PM, CBS posted the network's best Saturday primetime deliveries in viewers, adults 25-54, men 25-54 and adults 18-49 since January 14, 2006, with the AFC DIVISIONAL PLAYOFFS SATURDAY ("New England Patriots at Denver Broncos"). This is the best Saturday ratings in households, men 18-49, adults 18-34 and men 18-34 since March 31, 2007, Final Four Saturday.
