NBC Wins the Night Among the Broadcast Networks in All Key Categories, Winning Six of Six Half-Hours in 18-49
NBC spins the numbers for Monday, September 30.

Monday Results (NBC carried the Dolphins-Saints NFL telecast in New Orleans and CW carried the game in Miami):

NBC won the night among ABC, CBS, NBC & Fox in all key categories, winning six of six half-hours in 18-49 among those nets. NBC is currently winning the night among the Big 4 by a 65% margin in 18-49 (4.3 vs. 2.6 #2 Fox).

· From 8-10:01 p.m. ET, "The Voice" (4.6 rating, 13 share in adults 18-49, 14.2 million viewers overall) is currently winning the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in every key ratings category, including total viewers, despite competition from ABC's "Dancing With the Stars," pending updates "The Voice" is #1 for the night on those networks in 18-49, total viewers and other key categories

· "The Voice grew from its first half-hour to its fourth by 37% or 1.4 rating points in adults 18-49 (to a 5.2 from a 3.8) and by 28% or 3.4 million persons in total viewers (15.6 million vs. 12.1 million), pending updates.

· From 10:01-11 p.m. ET, "The Blacklist" (3.6/10 in adults 18-49, 12.1 million viewers overall) is currently #1 in the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key ratings category, with adult 18-49 margins of +64% versus ABC's "Castle" (3.6 vs. 2.2) and +140% versus CBS's "Hostages" (3.6 vs. 1.5), pending updates.

· "The Blacklist" is currently running within 5% of last week's series premiere in 18-49 (3.6 vs. 3.8) and within 4% of the premiere in total viewers (12.082 million vs. 12.583 million), pending updates.

· Versus NBC's slot result during week two of last season, "Blacklist" is currently up 13% (3.6 vs. 3.2 for the Oct. 1 telecast of "Revolution"). "Blacklist" is also currently up versus last year's earlier second telecast of "Revolution" (3.4 on Sept. 24, 2012). In total viewers, "The Blacklist" is currently up 45% versus what "Revolution" did on the same night last season (12.082 million vs. 8.317 million) and up 31% versus "Revolutions" earlier second telecast (12.082 million vs. 9.213 million).

Keep in mind that last week's "Blacklist" added 4.4 million viewers in "live plus three day results" versus these next-day L+SD results, the biggest increase for any broadcast program ever:

· The Sept. 23 premiere of "The Blacklist" has generated growth of 4.362 million viewers or 35% in "live plus three day" results versus its "live plus same day" overall audience, to 16.945 million persons from 12.583 million.

· The increase of 4.362 million is the single largest L+3 increase for any broadcast program to date, including not only series debuts and season premieres, but all additional telecasts.

· For the night, NBC is up vs. the same Monday last season by 5% (4.3 vs. 4.1).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 3.0/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.5/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
