(1.8/6) ran second in its half-hour with Adults 18-49 to CBS' Survivor, beating originals of Fox's Hell's Kitchen (+50% - 1.3/4) and NBC's The Mysteries of Laura (+50% - 1.2/4). Toy Story of Terror! won its half-hour in Kids 2-11 with ABC's highest rating in the time slot in 1 year - since the Disney special's original telecast on 10/16/13.

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown-RS (8:30-9pm - 6.3 million and 2.1/7 in AD18-49): Building on its lead-in at 8:30pm, ABC's repeat special It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown also took second to Survivor in Adults 18-49 ahead of its NBC and Fox competition, while ranking #1 in the slot with Adults 18-34 (tie), Women 18-34 (tie) and Kids 2-11 (top show of the night). A note about increasing DVR penetration and year-to-year rating comparisons: Year-to-year rating comparisons based on the Live + Same Day data stream are distorted by the level of DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample, which has jumped up to 49% currently, from 48% at the same point in 2013. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which may not be reflected in the overnight next day numbers. The only truly valid year-to-year comparison would be one based on the Live + 7 Day metric, once those stats are released by Nielsen.
