ABC's Bachelor in Paradise is Up 15% in Adults 18-49 to Tie a Series High

ABC Monday Prime (8-11pm - 3.7 million and 1.0/3 in AD18-49): ABC earned second place on Monday night in Adults 18-49 (1.0/3), up 11% week to week. The Net ranked #1 with Women 18-34.

Bachelor in Paradise (8-9pm - 5.0 million and 1.5/6 in AD18-49): At 8pm, ABC's Bachelor in Paradise built on its week-ago Monday premiere in Total Viewers (+6% - 5.0 million vs. 4.7 million) and Adults 18-49 (+15% - 1.5/6 vs. 1.3/5), hitting new season highs on both measures. In fact the show equaled a series high in Adults 18-49. The ABC unscripted show nearly tied NBC's American Ninja Warrior for the Adult 18-49 lead (1.5/6 vs. 1.7/7) in the hour, while ranking #1 with Adults 18-34 and across all key Women (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). Bachelor in Paradise was Monday's #1 TV show with Adults 18-34, Women 18-34 and Women 18-49.

A note about DVR penetration: DVR penetration in the Nielsen sample is currently at 49% in U.S. TV Homes. More viewers are watching shows on their own timetables, which are increasingly not reflected in the overnight Live + Same Day numbers. As a result, the Live + 7 Day ratings are the most accurate measure to gauge the size of the TV audience.
