(from FXX's press release, March 2015) Man Seeking Woman, the first original comedy series to debut on FXX, has been picked up for a second season, it was announced today by Nick Grad and Eric Schrier, Presidents of Original Programming, FX Networks and FX Productions. The half-hour comedy series from Showrunner and Executive Producer Simon Rich, starring Jay Baruchel and produced by FX Productions, will return with 10 new episodes in 2016. A sweet and absurd look at the surreal life-and-death stakes of dating, Man Seeking Woman stars Jay Baruchel as "Josh Greenberg," a naive romantic on a desperate quest for love. The cast also includes series regulars Eric André, Britt Lower and Maya Erskine. Man Seeking Woman was created by Simon Rich based on his book of short stories, The Last Girlfriend on Earth. Rich serves as Showrunner and Executive Producer along with Jonathan Krisel, Lorne Michaels and Broadway Video's Andrew Singer. Man Seeking Woman is produced by FX Productions.
