THE 23rd SEASON OF "AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS" PREMIERES SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7 ON ABC

This Season's Grand Prize: A Walt Disney World (R) Resort Vacation

"Episode 2302"-- "America's Funniest Home Videos" returns for its 23nd season with all-new videos of what happens when adults, children and even inanimate objects are at their spontaneous best, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7 (7:00-8:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. The video highlights in this season's premiere episode include a little brother who causes a fiasco amongst his siblings when he flushes the toilet too soon during their goldfish burial; animals making bizarre and unexpected sounds; a music montage featuring people terrified on amusement park rides; the Ow-lympics; and "Delivery room fainters" vs. "Straws getting stuck in weird places." Hosted by Tom Bergeron, "America's Funniest Home Videos" is the longest-running primetime show in ABC history.

This season the show's three $100,000 winners will compete to win an awe-inspiring Grand Prize: A vacation to the Walt Disney World (R) Resort in Florida, where they'll get to visit the new Fantasyland in the Magic Kingdom Park opening this December, the biggest expansion in Magic Kingdom history They can also go on a group, guided vacation with Adventures by Disney(R) to one of 16 destinations, with hassle free and authentic experiences the whole family can enjoy.

"AFHV" will also have three sweepstakes throughout the year in which viewers at home will get the chance to win incredible Disney vacation experiences . . . a Disney Cruise Line vacation on the brand-new Disney Fantasy, and unforgettable magical vacations to the Disneyland(R) Resort in California and the Walt Disney World (R) Resort in Florida. In its 23 seasons to date, "America's Funniest Home Videos" has given away over $12 million in prize money and evaluated more than a million videotapes from home viewers.
