SundanceTV's six-part psychological drama starring Golden Globe(R) winner Joanne Froggatt ("Downton Abbey") and Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four), "Liar" premieres on Wednesday, September 27th at 10:00 p.m. ET/ 9:00 p.m. CT. In the debut episode, Laura Nielson (Froggatt), recently out of a relationship, is set up with Andrew Earlham (Gruffudd), a handsome widowed surgeon and father of one of her students. The two enjoy a first date, but the next day, rumors and accusations begin to circulate and the two find themselves entangled in a web of deceit and confusion.

"Liar" is created and written by BAFTA and Golden Globe nominated producers and screenwriters Harry and Jack Williams ("The Missing," "Fleabag"). Lead director is BAFTA winner James Strong ("Broadchurch") who will also executive produce. Eliza Mellor ("The Living and the Dead") will produce the series. Sam Donovan ("Humans") will direct episodes 4 to 6.

"Liar's" premiere episode will be available for free (with no log-in required) on sundance.tv after its linear debut, along with a pre-premiere of episode 102.

Immediately following the premiere of "Liar," season one of the critically-acclaimed Australian comedy series, "Rosehaven," makes its U.S. debut at 11:00 p.m. ET/10:00 p.m. CT with two back-to-back episodes on SundanceTV.

In "Rosehaven," Daniel McCallum (McGregor) returns to his rural Tasmanian hometown, Rosehaven, to help his intimidating mother (Kris McQuade) with her real estate business. He gets a surprise when his best friend from the mainland, Emma (Pacquola), turns up on his doorstep after her honeymoon is cut short when her husband decides to leave Bali - and their relationship - early. In no time, Daniel and Emma are thrown into the center of small-town life with Daniel confronted at every turn by the ghosts of his adolescent past and a town that hasn't moved on. All the while, Emma is lapping up her anonymity in Rosehaven and newfound life on the lam. Soon enough, these two best buddies find both their friendship and their sanity put to the test by the charming, but deeply eccentric townsfolk of Rosehaven.

The series was created and written by Luke McGregor and Celia Pacquola. Kevin Whyte serves as executive producer, alongside executive producers for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Rick Kalowski and Brett Sleigh. "Rosehaven" is directed by Jonathan Brough and Shaun Wilson, produced by Andrew Walker and co-produced by Fiona McConaghy. Episodes will be available on sundance.tv the day after they air.
