BABYSELLERS (Lifetime, New!) - Kirstie Alley and Jennifer Finnigan are set to topline a new original movie at the cable channel about "the dark international crime enterprise of infant trafficking under the guise of seemingly regulated adoption." Alley will play Carla Hughes, "a well-respected, influential owner of a major U.S.-based adoption agency that helps prospective parents fulfill their dream of having a family"; while Finnigan is set as Nic Kingman, "the dedicated, tough-as-nails ICE agent who believes Hughes is fueling a global business that stops at nothing to find the right child for the right owner." Nick Willing is directing the project from a script by Suzette Couture with Robert Halmi, Sr. and Reunion Pictures' Mathew O'Connor executive producing. (Deadline.com)
SONS OF LIBERTY (History, New!) - Stephen David Entertainment ("The Men Who Built America") is developing a potential mini-series at the network about "a defiant and radical group of young men - including Samuel Adams, John Hancock, John Adams, Paul Revere, Patrick Henry and Benedict Arnold - as they band together in secrecy to change the course of history and make America a nation." No auspices however were given. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Patricia Arquette is set to recur on "Boardwalk Empire" as a tough-as-nails Tampa speakeasy owner with connections to local gangsters" (Deadline.com); Ned Bellamy will recur on CBS's summer drama "Under the Dome" as Reverend Coggins (Deadline.com); Matt Kane has booked an arc on "Switched at Birth" as "a brilliant and intense coffee shop barista and potential love interest to Kate Leclerc's character" (Deadline.com); Drea de Matteo will reprise her role of Wendy Teller on the upcoming season of "Sons of Anarchy" (TVLine.com); David Marciano won't return as a series regular on season three of "Homeland" (Deadline.com); and Jennifer Ferrin has joined the cast of "Hell on Wheels" as Louise Ellison, "a smart, witty and flirtatious journalist" covering the building of the Transcontinental Railroad (TVLine.com).
