ARROW/THE FLASH (The CW) - Arthur Darvill and Ciara Renée have both been cast in the proposed spin-off of the DC Comics series. He'll play Rip Hunter, described as "a roguish time traveler who hides the strains of being responsible for history itself behind a facade of charm and wit"; while she's set as Kendra Saunders, "a young woman who is just beginning to learn that she has been repeatedly reincarnated over the centuries. When provoked, her ancient warrior persona manifests itself, along with wings that grow out of her back, earning her the moniker Hawkgirl." Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Victor Garber and Wentworth Miller also star. (Deadline.com)

GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE, THE (Starz; W/D: Amy Seimetz & Lodge Kerrigan) - Mary Lynn Rajskub ("24") is the latest addition to the series, which is inspired by the 2009 film of the same name and explores the relationships between the exclusive courtesans and their clients, for whom they provide far more than just sex. She'll play Erin, "a smart, calculating and persuasive woman who is an attorney in the firm where Christine (Riley Keough) is an intern. Christine ends up juggling two very different lives after a law school friend introduces her to the world of The Girlfriend Experience, which drops her into an ever-broadening web of intrigue and betrayal." (THR.com)

MINORITY REPORT (FOX/20th; W: Max Borenstein; D: Mark Mylod) - Zhane Hall has been cast in the drama pilot, a small screen follow up to the 2002 film, in which Dash (Stark Sands), one of the three Precogs - still haunted by visions the future - meets Lara Vega (Meagan Good), a detective haunted by her past who just may help him find a purpose to his gift. He'll play the 10-year-old son of Good's character, Rico. Daniel London, Laura Regan, Li Jun Li and Wilmer Valderrama also star. (Variety.com)

SHADES OF BLUE (NBC/Universal; W: Adi Hasak; D: Barry Levinson) - Newcomer Hampton Fluker has joined the cast of the Jennifer Lopez-led drama, about a tight-knit crew of police officers who are effective at keeping the streets safe but also corrupt when it comes to lining their pockets and protecting their own. When one of the officers, Harlee Santos (Lopez), is forced to become a federal informant, she must decide between her own family's welfare and that of her police family. He'll play Patrick Tufo, "the precinct's confident playboy whose sexual exploits often get him into trouble." Drea de Matteo, Ray Liotta, Vincent Laresca and Warren Kole also star. (Deadline.com)

TAKE IT FROM US (NBC/Sony; W: Barry Schwartz & Greg Malins; D: Gail Mancuso) - Japheth Gordon and Joey Pollari have both scored roles on the comedy pilot, about a couple that tells their son the lessons they learned growing up in the '90s in hopes he and his fiancée can avoid making the same mistakes. Gordon will play Randy, "the outgoing and charismatic roommate of Luke (Chris Douglass). Seemingly the only young, gay guy in New York looking for a longtime relationship, he is a romantic who believes every guy he meets is the right one." Pollari then is set as Blake, "son of Lucas and Alyson (Stacey Farber), who meets his seemingly conservative parents for dinner. He's initially prepared to be bored, but when his parents begin talking about some wild incidents from their distant pasts - intended as life lessons for his own future - his ears perk up, and he starts paying very close attention." Andy Ridings also stars. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Emmanuelle Vaugier is bound for six episodes of "Mistresses" as "the new mixologist at Wunderbar and a thorn in Joss' (Jes Macallan) side" (Deadline.com); and "Murder in the First" co-creator Eric Lodal has departed the TNT series, which is currently in production on its second season (Deadline.com).
