MADE IN LA (Freeform, New!) - Juicy Couture founders Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor's memoir "The Glitter Plan" is being developed as a half-hour comedy at the cable channel, formerly known as ABC Family. Sascha Rothchild is penning the adaptation with Fake Empire's Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage and Orchard Farms Productions' Mila Kunis, Cami Curtis, Susan Curtis, and Lisa Sterbakov also on board to executive produce. ABC Studios is behind the half-hour with the former's Lis Rowinski co-executive producing. (Deadline.com)

MARVEL (A.K.A. STRANGE ANGEL) (AMC; W: Mark Heyman; D: TBA) - The drama - based on the life of Jim Parsons, a brilliant rocket scientist and co-founder of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory - is reportedly opening a writers' room with an eye towards a potential series order. While a pioneer in research that had only recently been dreamed up in science fiction, his bright future gave way to ruin as Parsons headed down another, darker path into the occult community of mid-century Los Angeles. George Pendle's book "Strange Angel: The Otherworldly Life of Rocket Scientist John Whiteside Parsons" serves as the project's basis. Scott Free Productions' David W. Zucker and Ridley Scott also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)

SIX (History/A+E; W: David Broyles & William Broyles; D: TBA) - Colombian actor Juan Pablo Raba is the first to be cast in the upcoming drama, which follows a brotherhood of modern American warriors, Navy SEAL Team Six, the best of the best, whose 2014 mission to eliminate a Taliban leader in Afghanistan goes awry when they uncover a U.S. citizen working with the terrorists. He'll play Ricky "Buddha" Ortiz, one of the veterans on SEAL Team Six. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - "Arrested Development" creator Mitch Hurwitz has confirmed work has begun on a fifth season for Netflix (Deadline.com); Sherilyn Fenn's Audrey Horne is reportedly expected to return for Showtime's "Twin Peaks" revival (Deadline.com); Charlie Craig has been tapped as co-showrunner for "Pretty Little Liars'" seventh season (Deadline.com); Giacomo Gianniotti's Andrew DeLuca has been upped to series regular on "Grey's Anatomy" (THR.com); Maya Stojan will visit both "NCIS" and "Grey's Anatomy" later this season (TVLine.com); Wes Brown has been cast as the new Sir Gaston on "Once Upon a Time," succeeding Sage Brocklebank (Variety.com); and Leslie Jones is bound for "The Blacklist" as "a woman who mistakes Reddington (James Spader) for a guy from her spin class and shamelessly hits on him" (EW.com).
