Universal Television-based Will Packer Productions is behind the half-hour, which has a penalty attached. Horn, Claybrooks, Packer, Korin D. Huggins, Kelly Meyer, Eric Carlson and Susan Carlson are executive producing with Leon as a co-executive producer. (THR.com)

GOLDBERGS, THE (ABC) - The Alphabet is developing a spin-off of the veteran comedy focusing on Bryan Callen's character, no-nonsense high school gym teacher/coach Rick Mellor. Marc Firek and Adam F. Goldberg will pen the script to the project, which has a penalty attached. Said effort "centers on two high school teachers who become unlikely father figures to the school secretary's three misfit kids." Doug Robinson and Seth Gordon of the Sony Pictures Television-based Happy Madison will also executive produce. (THR.com)
HOW MAY WE HATE YOU (CBS, New!) - Warren Lieberstein ("Back in the Game") has sold a multi-camera comedy to the Eye which "revolves around the employees at a trendy New York City hotel." Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan, Dana Honor and Wendi Trilling also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)
LAST MAN ON EARTH/MAKING HISTORY/SON OF ZORN (FOX) - Executive producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller have inked a new three-year overall with producer 20th Century Fox Television. UNTITLED MIKE ROSOLIO PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Mike Rosolio (Lemmings) has set up a single-camera comedy at the network about "an ambitious MIT graduate who gets a job working for a Steve Jobs-esque tech genius, only to learn he's also a vigilante superhero by night forcing her to become the unwitting Alfred to his Batman." Sony Pictures Television-based Point Grey Pictures is behind the half-hour, which has a penalty attached. Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
VIKINGS (History) - Ida Marie Nielsen (Anna Pihl) has scored an arc on the series as Margrethe, "a young Viking servant who is a love interest to a lead character. Margrethe is clever and resilient, yet vulnerable at the same time." (Deadline.com)

A musician, poet, writer, and proto-feminist, Emilia is an exotic and strikingly beautiful young woman. One of the most desired women in all of London, and mistress to the powerful Lord Hunsdon, Emilia goes on to become the first female professional English poet." (Deadline.com)
