CATFISH: THE TV SHOW (MTV) - The cable channel has temporarily halted production on the series following "sexual misconduct allegations against its host Nev Schulman." HUNT, THE (Amazon, New!) - Oscar-winner Jordan Peele has sold a new 10-episode drama to Amazon Studios which "follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters living in 1977 New York City. The Hunters, as they're known, have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans." David Weil penned the hour on spec and will executive produce alongside Monkeypaw Productions' Peele and Win Rosenfeld as well as Sonar Entertainment's Tom Lesinski and Jenna Santoianni. (Deadline.com)
LA'S FINEST (NBC) - Charter Communications is reportedly in preliminary talks to pick up the Gabrielle Union/Jessica Alba-led pilot, which was passed on last week by NBC. NARCOS (Netflix) - Tenoch Huerta, Joaquin Cosio, Teresa Ruiz and Alyssa Diaz will join the previously announced Diego Luna and Michael Pena on the show's fourth season, due this fall. No details about their roles were given. Additionally, Jose Maria Yazpik will reprise his role of Amado Carrillo Fuentes. (Variety.com)
NCIS: NEW ORLEANS (CBS) - Executive producer Brad Kern is stepping down from the series as showrunner. Christopher Silber will assume said duties going forward. Kern, who will still serve as a consultant on the series, was the focus of two human resources investigations by CBS Television Studios during his tenure and received "six months of sensitivity training/counseling." (Deadline.com)
SEX EDUCATION (Netflix) - Gillian Anderson and Asa Butterfield have scored the lead roles on the upcoming drama, about Otis Thompson (Butterfield) - a socially awkward high school virgin who lives with his mother (Anderson), a sex therapist. Also starring are Ncuti Gatwa, Connor Swindells and Kedar Williams-Stirling in unspecified roles. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED MARADONA PROJECT (Amazon, New!) - BTF Media has set up a high-end documentary series at the streaming service about soccer player Maradona, "one of the most gifted and controversial players of all time." The project, which will be co-produced with Dhana Media and Raze, "will look at the Argentinean's early life and his prolific career, spanning from the Latin American country through Spain and Italy and will chronicle his key role in leading his national team to win the '86 Mexico World Cup." BTF Media's Francisco Cordero and Ricardo Coeto will presumably executive produce. (Deadline.com)
