GOOD FIGHT, THE (CBSAA) - Michael J. Fox will reprise his "The Good Wife" role of Louis Canning on the spin-off series. Additionally, Hugh Dancy is slated to recur as Caleb, "a former military officer who now works as an associate at the huge multi-national law firm that has acquired Reddick Boseman & Lockhart. However, his wit and decency threaten to make him a better fit with Diane and Co. than the overlords." (Deadline.com, TVLine.com, 1/12)
INTELLIGENCE (Showtime) - The pay channel has opted not to proceed with Mark Boal's proposed drama series, which would explore the secret inner workings of power - how espionage intersects with politics, finance, media and Silicon Valley. A writers' room was commissioned back in April. It's understood "the project will not make it to the pilot stage after not coming together creatively." (Deadline.com)
MARE OF EASTTOWN (HBO) - Craig Zobel has signed a two-year overall deal with the pay channel. As part of the pact, he'll join the Kate Winslet-led series as a director and executive producer. He succeeds Gavin O'Connor, who had to bow out from helming due to scheduling reasons. (Deadline.com)
SEE (Apple TV+) - Dave Bautista has signed onto the show's second season in a yet-to-be-revealed role. (Deadline.com)
STATION ELEVEN (HBO Max) - Gael García Bernal is the latest to recur on the Emily St. John Mandel limited series adaptation as Arthur, "a famous actor from a small island off the coast of Mexico." (Deadline.com)
