BIG SKY (ABC) - Sharon Taylor has booked a recurring role on the freshman drama as Commander Elena Sosa: "A decorated twenty year veteran of the Montana Highway Patrol, Elena Sosa has worked her way up the ranks to her current status as Commander. She considers herself a community police officer, and takes that role seriously in her efforts to keep the streets and citizens of Montana safe. Commander Sosa is also a proud member of Montana's indigenous community, and will work with Cassie and Jenny to bring the kidnappers to justice." (Deadline.com)
NANCY DREW (The CW) - Aadila Dosani will recur on the upcoming season as Amanda Bobbsey: "One half of the Bobbsey Twins, Amanda is charming, but possesses a manic energy and street smarts as a result of growing up poor and on the wrong side of the tracks. Often resorting to petty crimes with her twin brother, Amanda puts herself and her twin above everyone and everything else. Praneet Akilla portrays Amanda's twin brother, Gil Bobbsey." (Deadline.com)
NIGHT SCHOOL (NBC) - The network has passed on the pilot for its small screen take on the Kevin Hart/Tiffany Haddish-led film. REAGAN & GORBACHEV (New!) - Michael Douglas and Christoph Waltz are attached to play Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev in a proposed limited series from Paramount Television Studios. The project - which "tells the dramatic account of the historic 1986 Reagan-Gorbachev summit in Iceland, the definitive weekend that was the key turning point in the Cold War, from the vantage point of Reagan's arms control director" - is based on Ken Adelman's book "Reagan at Reykjavik: Forty-Eight Hours That Ended the Cold War" with writer B. Garida and director James Foley among the featured auspices. (Deadline.com)
UPLOAD (Amazon) - Josh Banday's Ivan - who "works the night shift at Horizen and takes over for Nora (Andy Allo) when she is done with her shift" - will return as a regular for the show's second season. (Deadline.com)
