The ABC Television Network received 64 nominations for the 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, up 13 from last year, and more than any other broadcast network. �Grey�s Anatomy� earned 11 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, and Supporting Actress in a Drama Series nods for Sandra Oh and Chandra Wilson. Candace Bergen from �Boston Legal� was also nominated in this category. Geena Davis from �Commander In Chief� was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. William Shatner from �Boston Legal� received a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, and Alfre Woodard was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for �Desperate Housewives.�
In the Guest Actor category, ABC received seven nominations total. Michael J. Fox and Christian Clemenson were nominated for Outstanding Guest Actors in a Drama Series for �Boston Legal,� along with Henry Ian Cusick for �Lost� and Kyle Chandler for �Grey�s Anatomy.� Shirley Knight was nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for �Desperate Housewives,� while Kate Burton and Christina Ricci received nominations for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for �Grey�s Anatomy.�
�Dancing with the Stars� received six nominations total, including Outstanding Reality-Competition Program, and �Extreme Makeover: Home Edition� received a nomination for Outstanding Reality Program.
�The 78th Annual Academy Awards� received nine nominations, including Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special. In the miniseries and movie category, ABC received seven nominations total, for �Stephen King�s Desperation,� �Once Upon a Mattress� and �The Ten Commandments.�
Other ABC programs receiving nominations included �Alias,� �According to Jim,� �2005 American Music Awards� and �NFL Opening Kick-off 2005.�
The 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented Sunday, Aug. 27 in Los Angeles.
