LEFT TO DIE (Lifetime, New!) - Barbara Hershey and Rachel Leigh Cook are set to star in a new original movie at the cable channel based on the true story of Sandra Chase (Hershey), "a woman who takes an innocent vacation in Ecuador but ends up being wrongly imprisoned for drug trafficking." Cook then will play Tammi, Sandra's daughter who fights for her mother's release. Leon Ichaso is directing from a script by Agatha Dominik and Suzette Couture with Sony Pictures Television, Blue Blazer Productions and Sandbar Pictures co-producing. Frank von Zerneck, Danielle von Zerneck, Elizabeth Zox Friedman, Greg Little and Tammi Chase are the executive producers. Production begins this month for a premiere date next year.
