Friday's Broadcast Ratings: "Undercover Boss" Leads CBS to Victory

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night:

CBS (10.539 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) topped the charts on Friday with the winter finale of "Undercover Boss" (9.856 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T1) alongside originals from "CSI: NY" (10.360 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3) and "Blue Bloods" (11.401 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3).

ABC (6.053 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #2) then was a close second place with its mix of "Last Man Standing" (6.885 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #6), "Malibu Country" (5.948 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7), "Shark Tank" (6.662 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T1) and "20/20" (5.080 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T3).

Next up was NBC (3.502 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) with its telecast of "The 44th Annual NAACP Awards" (3.047 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.8, #10) plus a one-hour installment of "Dateline NBC" (4.412 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.664 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) offered up a new "Kitchen Nightmares" (2.935 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.0, #9) and a rebroacast of "The Following" (2.394 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.7, #11).

And finally, a new "Nikita" (1.370 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12) and an encore "The Carries Diaries" (0.704 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) on The CW (1.037 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) rounded out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Nikita" delivered a 0.4 rating at 8:00/7:00c and "Carrie" a 0.4 rating at 9:00/8:00c.

* In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 Wednesday results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

* From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET Wednesday night, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.6/5 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

* From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.7/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.4/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.4/2).

* At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (9.95 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) was the most-watched network on Friday with new episodes of "A Gifted Man" (8.41 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #8), "CSI: NY" (10.16 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T3) and "Blue Bloods" (11.28 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T1).

Sharing the demo crown was ABC (5.26 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.5, #T1) with fresh installments of "Shark Tank" (5.20 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.5, #5), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (5.02 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6) and "20/20" (5.56 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #T1).

Next up was FOX (3.52 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #3) and its pairing of "Kitchen Nightmares" (3.85 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T3) and "Fringe" (3.19 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T9).

Meanwhile, NBC (5.14 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #4) offered up the return of "Who Do You Think You Are?" (6.02 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T9) followed by new episodes of "Grimm" (4.73 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6) and "Dateline NBC" (4.66 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T9).

And finally, new episodes of "Nikita" (1.49 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #13) and "Supernatural" (1.63 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12) on The CW (1.56 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #5) closed out the evening.
