Friday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Tops Viewers, Shares Demo Crown with ABC

Here are the highlights of the 15 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/5/16):

CBS (6.082 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) was the network to beat on Friday with a new "Undercover Boss" (6.801 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2) and the two-hour special "Super Bowl's Greatest Halftime Shows" (5.723 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #5).

ABC (5.901 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T1) then shared in the demo honors with its mix of "Last Man Standing" (6.729 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2), "Dr. Ken" (4.901 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6), "Shark Tank" (6.111 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) and "20/20" (5.777 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T2).

Next up was NBC (4.310 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) and its trio of "Caught on Camera with Nick Cannon" (3.637 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8), "Grimm" (4.382 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and "Dateline NBC" (4.912 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.684 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) offered up the return of "Sleepy Hollow" (3.128 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and a new "Second Chance" (2.241 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.6, #11).

And finally, new episodes of "The Vampire Diaries" (1.138 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) and "The Originals" (0.926 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T12) on The CW (1.032 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the night.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (6.474 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) landed the top demo spot on Friday thanks to new episodes of "Last Man Standing" (7.219 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2), "Cristela" (5.519 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.1, #8), "Shark Tank" (7.628 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and "20/20" (5.424 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T6).

CBS (9.651 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) then claimed a close second place with originals from "Undercover Boss" (7.740 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2), "Hawaii Five-0" (9.887 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2) and "Blue Bloods" (11.326 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2).

Next up was NBC (4.027 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.0, #3) with fresh installments of "Constantine" (2.939 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T10), "Grimm" (4.655 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T6) and "Dateline NBC" (4.489 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #9).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.117 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.7, #4) served up new episodes of "World's Funniest Fails" (2.664 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T10) and "Glee" (1.571 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12).

And finally, The CW (1.068 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the evening with a new "Hart of Dixie" (1.232 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13), a repeat "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (0.874 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13) and the season finale of "Masters of Illusion" (0.935 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #15). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said trio posted a 0.4, 0.2 and 0.2 rating, respectively.
