DESCRIPTION:
(from ABC's press release) The Ryans are anything but your typical family. Mom's a hottie. Dad's MIA. Daughter's a straight-A student. The cute live-in handyman wants to be an actor. And the aunt wonders if it's not too late to put her sister's teenage daughter up for adoption. Honestly, it's Freaky Friday every day. Mom Holly is sexy, confident and flirtatious; her teenage daughter Ashley is pretty, conservative and shy. But the grown-up Girl and immature Mom are best friends even if it is often totally embarrassing. Mom may come to parent-teacher night in a totally inappropriate dress with a date in tow. But when it comes to mastering the art of IM-ing when a cute boy logs on, a cool mom is great to have. Producers of Cheers, Seinfeld and Frasier partner on a comedy that rides the ups and downs, the quirks, the digs, the gaffs, and the triumphs of the whole mother-daughter thing. |
