(from GSN's press release, August 2014) GSN, the leader in game shows and competitive entertainment, announced today it has picked up additional seasons of two original series: Emmy(R)-nominated THE CHASE (season four, 20 episodes) and matchmaking competition show IT TAKES A CHURCH (season two, eight episodes). Both seasons will air in 2015. Dating series IT TAKES A CHURCH, which premiered in June, features Christian congregations across the U.S. in a matchmaking competition to help one unattached fellow congregant find his or her partner. Hosted by Grammy(R) nominated Curb recording artist Natalie Grant, each one-hour episode features a church from a different region of the country. In its inaugural season, more than seven million viewers tuned into IT TAKES A CHURCH. The show delivered triple-digit growth among W18-34 (+100%) and W18-49 (+117%), and double-digit growth among W25-54 (+94%), P18-49 (+92%) and P25-54 (+72%), vs. GSN's year-to-date time period average.
