DESCRIPTION:
(from BBC's press release, October 2024) Prime Video, Amazon MGM Studios and Máquina Vega announce the Mexican adaptation of the BBC Studios format, The Office. Gaz Alazraki (Nosotros los Nobles) will serve as director and executive producer, and Marcos Bucay (Cómo Sobrevivir Soltero) will be the showrunner of this adaptation. La Oficina will take place in Aguascalientes. Prime Video, Amazon MGM Studios and Gary "Gaz" Alazraki's Máquina Vega announce the new sitcom series, La Oficina, an adaptation of the BBC Studios format, The Office. Gaz Alazraki (Nosotros los Nobles, Club de Cuervos) will serve as director and executive producer and Marcos Bucay (Guadalupe Reyes, Cómo Sobrevivir Soltero) will be the showrunner of this adaptation, which is part of the overall deal signed between Amazon MGM Studios and Máquina Vega. La Oficina will be available exclusively on Prime Video in Latin America, Brazil and Spain. This new version will take place in Aguascalientes and the office will be led by Jerónimo Ponce III, regional manager of the family business "Jabones Olimpo". The office employees will have to endure the headaches of working for a family business where the boss is not qualified to lead the company. |
