DESCRIPTION:
(from A&E's press release) What would you do if you could be single again? In this show, a couple that has been together for years takes a gamble on the future. They both agree to sample what life would be like if they were single again. They move out of a shared apartment, divide their belongings, and develop new images. They establish a contract before they separate that lays the ground rules for their new-found freedom. Over the course of the month a relationship expert checks in with them individually to see how they are feeling and shows them tapes of the other’s activities. The only contact they are allowed is a short phone call once a week and a brief lunch at the half-way point. Finally, it’s judgment day and per the contract, they are set to meet in NYC. Will one of them have second thoughts about the relationship? Will they both decide that the time apart wasn’t so well spent after all? There’s no guarantee when they take a chance on love and see what it’s like to be single again.
