(from Style's press release, April 2011) This powerful and inspiring reality family drama centers around 29 year-old Yesi Ortiz, an afternoon DJ at L.A.'s Power 106 FM radio. Yesi is much more than a DJ however; she is also "mom" to the seven nieces and nephews who were put into foster care when her sister was sent to prison. One by one, Yesi has gained legal custody of her family and is determined to keep them together at any cost, while also pursuing her own career goals and personal aspirations. |
