(from Discovery's press release, March 2017) Between 1896 and 1899, more than 100,000 brave souls set out on a perilous journey into the frozen North on the legendary Klondike Gold Rush trail. Most never made it to the end. Killed or scared off by bears, treacherous terrain, raging torrents and temperatures below -40 degrees, only one in three completed the journey. Now Parker Schnabel of Discovery GOLD RUSH fame, will attempt to make this same journey and document it in GOLD RUSH: PARKER'S TRAIL premiering Friday, March 31 at 9 PM ET/PT on the Discovery Channel. At the age of 22, Parker has already struck it rich in the Klondike by mining over $13 million dollars' worth of gold. But despite his financial success, he's always wondered - is he tough as the original gold mining stampeders? Parker spent his childhood in Haines, Alaska, near the starting point of the Klondike Gold Trail, and grew up hearing stories about those taking on the journey against incredible odds in pursuit of extraordinary wealth. Parker comes from a family of gold miners, including his beloved grandpa, who inspired him to push himself beyond his limits. In honor of his grandpa's memory, he will now attempt one of the most dangerous challenges he's ever done by trekking across the Coastal Range - as winter closes in - from his home in Alaska to the fabled goldfields of the Klondike. This journey is in his blood and will follow in the footsteps of his forebears. But he won't do this alone. Joining Parker on his journey will be his foreman Rick Ness, wilderness guide Karla Ann, who once worked with Parker as a rock truck driver; and cameramen James Levelle, who has known Parker for years.

With movie star looks and a penchant for sports cars, Gordon Cooper was the youngest and the flashiest of the bunch. As a space pioneer, he first took orbit in Mercury-Atlas 9, setting a record that still holds today for the longest solo space flight in US history. During one of his key missions, while Cooper claimed to be scouring the globe for nuclear sites, he actually discovered something else: shipwrecks. Working for decades in secret, using the information he collected while orbiting the Earth, Cooper created a document that he thought could lead to unimaginable wealth - a treasure map from space. Uncover the truth - and the treasure - when COOPER'S TREASURE premieres on Discovery Tuesday, April 18th at 10pm ET/PT. Before passing away, Cooper shared his secret with long-time friend Darrell Miklos with the hope that his exploration would continue and the treasure would ultimately be found. Miklos is now setting out on a personal quest to fulfill the legacy of his lost mentor, once and for all realizing Cooper's long-held dream and proving to the world that the mysterious documents hold the key for a new generation of explorers.

Each episode of Problematic will delve into a single topic of online outrage - such as impeachment, the dark web, cultural appropriation, ideological changes of heart, the liberal case for guns, and more - and examine how it shapes our culture. With the help of experts, comedians, and questions from both the in-studio and online audience, Kasher will solve every problem that has ever existed by the end of the episode, bringing peace and harmony to the internet once and for all while paving the way for a Oprah/Schwarzenegger co-presidency in 2020.

GENIUS (NGC)
· [series premiere] · 4/25/17 at 9:00 PM
· [regularly airs] · tuesdays from 9:00 PM-10:00 PM EST
(from National Geographic Channel's press release, March 2017) Though his scientific endeavors continue to inspire awe, few know the entire story of the tumultuous private life of the 20th century's most brilliant icon, Albert Einstein. Premiering Tuesday, April 25, at 9/8c, National Geographic's new 10-part global event series, GENIUS - the network's first scripted series - reveals how Albert became Einstein, exploring his extraordinary professional achievements along with his volatile, passionate and complex personal relationships. From Fox 21 Television Studios, whose recent "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story" dominated every awards contest and critics' list; Imagine Television, the producer of "24" and "Friday Night Lights"; and OddLot Entertainment, which earlier this year produced the Academy Award(R)- nominated film "Hell or High Water," the series is based on Walter Isaacson's book "Einstein: His Life and Universe" and is executive produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Gigi Pritzker, with Howard making his scripted television directorial debut with the first episode. Featuring Einstein's lovers, enemies and fellow scientific luminaries, the all-star cast includes Geoffrey Rush ("The Kings Speech," "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Shine") as the celebrated titular scientist, Johnny Flynn ("Clouds of Sils Maria," "Song One," "Lovesick") as Albert in the years before he rose to international acclaim and Emily Watson ("Theory of Everything," "The Book Thief") as his second wife - and first cousin - Elsa Einstein. GENIUS tracks Einstein's rise from humble origins as an imaginative, rebellious thinker, through his struggles to be recognized by the establishment, to his global celebrity status as the man who unlocked the mysteries of the cosmos with his theory of relativity. Delving deeper, the series follows Einstein's alternately exhilarating emotions and heartlessness in dealing with his closest personal relationships, including his children, his two wives and the various women with whom he cheats on them. The series is set against an era of global unrest over the course of two world wars. Faced with rising anti-Semitism in Europe, surveillance by spies and the potential for atomic annihilation, Einstein struggles as a husband and a father, not to mention as a man of principle, even as his own life is put in danger.
