Chuck Screening and Q&A

The panel's description: "Chuck executive producer Josh Schwartz (Gossip Girl), co-creator Chris Fedak, and stars Zachary Levi (Less Than Perfect), Yvonne Strahovski (Gone), Joshua Gomez (Invasion), Sarah Lancaster (Everwood), Ryan McPartlin (Super Capers), and Adam Baldwin (Serenity) return to Comic-Con for a Q&A to discuss the Peoples Choice Awardnominated action-comedy, and to screen an exclusive series highlight reel debuting new footage from the upcoming second season. Produced by College Hill Pictures, Wonderland Sound and Vision in association with Warner Bros. Television, Chuck airs Mondays at 8:00 PM on NBC."

3:36 PM: Kristin Dos Santos presents "Chuck" vs. the Montage of Season 2.

3:45 PM: It's fun stuff - John Larroquette, Michael Clarke Duncan, Tony Hale, Melinda Clarke, Nicole Richie, Jordana Brewster and more!

3:46 PM: Hey it's Josh Schwartz, Chris Fedak, Zachary Levi, Adam Baldwin (always a fan favorite), Yvonne Strahovski, Joshua Gomez, Sarah Lancaster and Ryan McPartlin.

3:48 PM: "The first episode is like a new pilot for us," Josh reveals. Adding that they're going to deeped the mythology on the show and expand the love story. This causes Josh and Zachary to hug.

3:50 PM: Josh and Zach say their bromance is not as hot as it once was - they haven't had much time for video games unfortunately.

3:51 PM: Zach says he and Yvonne have kissed twice so far this season, "but who's counting."

3:52 PM: Kristin suggests there will be a same sex kiss between two of the characters on the panel.

3:53 PM: Adam on his character this season: "You'll see my lips." Josh reveals that early on they're going to establish a new Intersec, giving Chuck the chance to go back to a normal life. Adam's character then is tasked with removing Chuck, something that surprisingly causes a feeling for him.

3:55 PM: Josh notes all the Nerd Herd characters are series regular this year. As far as the large amount of guest stars, he says the response to Kevin Weisman appearing on the show last year got them thinking more about having meatier guest stars. Other notes: you will get to meet the Awesomes (Ryan's characters parents) this year while Jordana Brewster will play the Chuck's lost love Jill, whom Chuck tries to impress by saying he's a software magnate - something which the CIA now has to follow through with.

3:59 PM: Kristin asks if we'll see Adam on Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse." "Hell no I'm on 'Chuck' now," he boasts.

4:01 PM: Joshua says Lester will initially be the new assistant manager of the Buy More after emerging victorious from a Thunderdome battle with Jeff. After he fails, they bring in Emmitt, Tony Dale's character.

4:02 PM: Zach says that "Chuck" lets him be all the things he wasn't in high school. There he was the best friend or the one pining over the girl.

4:03 PM: Kristin asks about Yvonne's shower fight against Nicole Ritchie. Apparently she's watched the "Alias" DVDs to try and emulate Jennifer Garner's work.

4:05 PM: Kristin wonders if the rumors are true that Yvonne was up for the lead of "Bionic Woman." She did indeed audition for "Bionic Woman" however Josh and company swooped in and got her to do "Chuck."

4:07 PM: Chris makes mean Casey faces when writing Adam's character.

4:08 PM: "Scenario Five" was Chris's original title for the show. We've reported this before right?

4:09 PM: Josh confirms what we saw in the clip package: Bryce will return. "At the most opportune time too," Josh adds.

4:11 PM: Joshua can do a mean Ryan impersonation. Ryan says he's working on one of Joshua but "I have to grow a beard first... and cut myself off at the knees"

4:12 PM: Adam is asked about Casey's nickname for his gun. "Shiney."

4:13 PM: More impersations: Zach of Yvonne. To have her saying "no" it has to be (using all the vowels) "n-aeiou-o."

4:14 PM: "Chuck: Season One" on DVD - September 16.

4:15 PM: Ryan on how he'd like to die on the show: "No decapitation, because then you can't come back... I'm just saying - I was on a soap opera." Adam on how he'd like to go: "in an exploding Crown Vic."

4:16 PM: Big Mike is in the house!

4:18 PM: Someone asks if we'll see Lou/Rachel Bilson again. In short: not anytime soon.

4:19 PM: Once again, having some wireless issues. Josh on who will probably find out Chuck's secret first: Jeff, although he'd probably forget about it the next day.

4:21 PM: A fan asks if Big Mike will get a love interest this season. Josh says yes and it's Morgan's mom. No one can seem to tell if he's kidding.

4:23 PM: The panel suggests Jerry Stiller and Rue McClanahan as casting for Awesome's parents. "Sarah's pushing for David Hasselhoff," Josh quips.

4:24 PM: Zach declares that Adam is like a porcupine - you know there's a cute little animal inside there.

4:25 PM: Someone asks if Chuck will go back and earn his college degree. Chris says it will be addressed in the first five episodes.

4:26 PM: Kristin asks if Zach and Joshua can recreate their 69 from the pilot and last year's panel.

4:27 PM: They do so via hand puppets. And that's it folks! Only one more to go!

4:29 PM: Or not - they're giving away a Nerd Herd mobile. It's Samuel Hays if you're reading this. Apparently he's outside and couldn't get in. Kind of a downer way to end a panel.
