Martin Landau ("Mission Impossible") Guest Stars

"Shadows" -- Martin and Samantha search for his missing aunt during their weekend off, and Malone gets news that his father has Alzheimers, on a rebroadcast of WITHOUT A TRACE, Thursday, Aug. 12 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Randy Zisk directed the teleplay written by Jennifer Levin and Jan Nash. (Originally broadcast 4/15/04)

Martin Landau ("Mission Impossible") guest stars as Malones father.

After Martins Aunt Bonnie, a feeble cancer patient and nurse, vanishes for several hours, her concerned husband and adult daughters summon Martin to help find her. Enlisting Samanthas assistance, Martin finds it difficult to be objective when some of the information they uncover suggests that his nurturing and seemingly proper aunt may have a secret lover, an unlawful business -- and/or a desire to commit suicide. Meanwhile, Malone, who learns that his combative father (Landau) is in the early stages of Alzheimers, decides to make an effort to make peace with him before its too late.
