"Two Families" -- The team searches for a father who goes missing while in the midst of his last-ditch efforts to prove the innocence of his death-row inmate son who is scheduled to die in two days, on a rebroadcast of WITHOUT A TRACE, Thursday, Aug. 19 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. John Showalter directed the episode from a script written by Ed Redlich, one of the series executive producers. (Originally broadcast 4/29/04)

The past 11 years of the missing Mark Wilsons life have been devoted to proving that his son, Ricky, was wrongly convicted of killing a young married couple in front of their 5-year-old daughter during a convenience story robbery. While not ruling out that the despondent Mark could have brought harm upon himself, the team members -- who find themselves wondering if Mark is right about Rickys innocence -- investigate whether what Mark has stirred in his investigation could have resulted in his disappearance.
