"The Hitchhiker" -- When she re-opens the case of a hitchhiker found murdered in 1997 near Atlantic City, Lilly uncovers new evidence that leads her closer to the killer, on a rebroadcast of COLD CASE, Sunday, Sept. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. After reviewing the case, Lilly and the homicide team at first believe that the victim, Matt Mills, was hitchhiking with his recent casino winnings and was murdered by a truck driver who may have committed a series of killings along his truck route. However, after further investigation, they learn that Matt had a checkered past, having robbed a convenience store as a teen with his cousin, Blaine. This revelation leads Lilly to believe that Matt�s murder may have been an act of revenge. But when Matt�s sister, Katie, recounts a conversation she had with her brother on the night he was killed, Lilly begins to put the pieces together and eventually comes up with an unlikely suspect.
