Street-smart FBI agent and master of disguise Malcolm Turner (Martin Lawrence) has his hands full in this laugh-out-loud comedy, when he is sent to Georgia to protect a beautiful single mother, Sherry (Nia Long), and her son from an escaped convict. In order to remain incognito, he is forced to impersonate a soul food-cooking, baby delivering, crass Southern granny known as Big Momma (Ella Mitchell), who happens to be out of town. Now he must find a way to catch the con and get the girl before the real Big Momma comes home. Cedric The Entertainer also appears as the Reverend.
