MALONE AND HIS TEAM SEARCH FOR AN INJURED U.S. SOLDIER RECENTLY BACK FROM IRAQ AND WHOSE BUSINESS WENT
BANKRUPT IN HIS ABSENCE, ON A REBROADCAST OF "WITHOUT A TRACE," ON A SPECIAL NIGHT, SUNDAY, SEPT. 19
"Gung-Ho" -- The team searches for an injured U.S. soldier who recently returned from Iraq to find that his business has failed and hes about to lose the home he shares with his fianc, on a rebroadcast of WITHOUT A TRACE, on a special night, Sunday, Sept. 19 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Paul Holahan directed the teleplay written by Dale Kutzera and Simon Mirren. (Originally broadcast 2/26/04)
Asked by the U.S. Army to assist in finding Private First Class Kevin Grant, the team learns from Kevins fianc, Sara, that hed been frantically trying to figure out how to salvage their dire financial circumstances before he departs again for Iraq. The teams further investigation into Kevins recent past reveals an apparent cover-up involving a firefight in which Kevin was wounded. To get to the bottom of this matter, Malone and Danny travel to Iraq to learn whether the dangerous and controversial circumstances of Kevins last firefight could have put him in jeopardy at home or if he has succumbed to post-traumatic stress and his desperate financial woes.
