IT'S PROGRESS REPORT TIME AT SCHOOL, ON ABC'S "COMPLETE SAVAGES"

Mel Gibson Directed This Episode in Addition to the Pilot

"Tutoring" - It's progress report time at school, and while the Savage boys - with the exception of Sam - are far from straight A students, Nick can't ignore the fact that Chris is failing five classes this year. The greatest shock is that studious Sam is failing a class, and when the guys find out it's gym, he becomes the butt of everyone's humor in this jock-filled household. When Sam agrees to tutor Chris so he won't be kicked off the football team in exchange for the coach giving him a passing grade in P.E., Sam soon realizes he got the short end of the rope, on "Complete Savages," FRIDAY, OCTOBER 1 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET),on the ABC Television Network.

Starring in "Complete Savages" are Keith Carradine as Nick, Andrew Eiden as Sam, Shaun Sipos as Jack, Erik von Detten as Chris, Evan Ellingson as Kyle, Jason Dolley as T.J. and Vincent Ventresca as Jimmy.

Guest-starring in "Tutoring" are Autumn Reeser as Angela and Forry Smith as Coach McCarthy.

"Tutoring" was written by Julie Thacker-Scully and directed by Mel Gibson.

"Complete Savages" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.
