LILLY'S INVESTIGATION OF A TEENAGE RUNAWAY'S SAD PAST LEADS TO A SHOCKING DISCOVERY, ON "COLD CASE," SUNDAY, OCT. 17

"Daniela" -- The discovery of a home movie starring a teenage runaway causes Lilly and Valens to reopen a murder investigation from l979, on COLD CASE, Sunday, Oct. 17 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. David Barrett directed the episode from a script written by Veena Sud. (Previously scheduled for an earlier date).

When Lilly receives a home movie in which a young woman is apparently shot and killed, Rush and Valens re-open an unsolved "Jane Doe" murder case. As they investigate, they learn that the victim, a teenage runaway who panhandled in a rough part of town, was picked up by a couple of teenage boys who made the home movie using her as their star. However, the now-adult boys tell Rush the whole thing was an act and Rush and Valens must figure out what happened to the vibrant 19-year-old who was never seen again.
