"Volunteers" -- Human remains found in the excavation for a new building lead Rush and Valens to investigate the unsolved deaths of a man and a woman in their mid-20's who disappeared in 1969, on a rebroadcast of COLD CASE, on a special night, Saturday, Oct. 23 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. As they delve into the couples� lives, the detectives learn they were both active in the '60s counter-culture scene when they vanished. They also discover that Gerard and Julia volunteered for an underground organization that helped women have safe abortions when it was illegal. When Lilly and Scott locate a woman (Renee) who the couple helped shortly before their disappearance, they find that she could provide the key in finally figuring out what happened.
