The 32nd annual "American Music Awards" is asking the public to cast their votes for the T-Mobile Text-In Award, which will determine the fans' favorite from a list of top artists from each of the five major musical genres. The award will be revealed during the live telecast of the special, which airs SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14 (8:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

T-Mobile USA subscribers can cast their votes using their T-Mobile SMS capable cellular phones by sending the letter corresponding to their favorite artist ("A" for Kenny Chesney, "B" for Evanescence, "C" for Norah Jones, "D" for Outkast or "E" for Usher) to "ABCTV" (22288). Standard text messaging charges apply for text messaging an entry. In addition, votes can also be cast via the Internet at ABC's site at www.abc.com, Keyword: AMA, and viewers of the "American Music Awards" can also vote during the show via Enhanced TV by logging on to ABC.com and clicking on the Enhanced TV logo. Voting is now open and will conclude during the show on November 14.

"T-Mobile gives people new and multiple ways to personalize communication, including text messaging or built-in IM on innovative devices such as the T-Mobile Sidekick," said Jim Goodwin, vice president, Integrated Marketing, T-Mobile USA. "With T-Mobile, people can express their uniqueness and connect and share with whomever they choose. The T-Mobile Text-In Award is another fun, interactive way for people to make themselves heard."
