Talk Show Host Larry King Appears As Team Owner

"Trade Talks" -- Pete is horrified by the Conrad Dean trade talks and decides that it is his responsibility to save the team captain, on CLUBHOUSE, Tuesday, Oct. 19 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Joanna Kerns ("Growing Pains") directed the episode from a script written by Sheila Lawrence. (Previously scheduled for a later date).

Talk show host Larry King makes an appearance as the New York Empires team owner Tom Bettelheim.

As trade talk circulates about New York Empires star, Dean, Pete does everything in his power to put a stop to it. In an exhaustive, and sometimes embarrassing, effort to keep Dean, Pete rallies the troops in putting together a petition, pitches a sportswriter and even approaches the team owner. Meanwhile, Lynne is offered a job in New Hampshire and seriously contemplates a family move.
