A HOMELESS WOMAN GOES MISSING FROM A SHELTER AND JACK SUSPECTS A MAN HE BELIEVES MANIPULATED HIS TWIN BROTHER INTO CONFESSING TO HIS OWN MURDERS OF INDIGENT WOMEN IN A PREVIOUS CASE, ON WITHOUT A TRACE, THURSDAY, NOV. 18

Tony Goldwyn (The Last Samurai, From the Earth to the Moon) Returns in the Dual Roles He Portrayed Last Season

Doppelganger Part 2 -- When a homeless woman goes missing from a shelter that is linked to a previous case, Jack (Anthony LaPaglia) suspects Rick Knowles, who, during the previous investigation, was believed by the team to be a serial killer who manipulated his identical twin brother into confessing to the murders, on WITHOUT A TRACE, Thursday, Nov. 18 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Timothy Busfield, one of the series co-executive producers, directed the episode written by Hank Steinberg, the series creator and one of the series' executive producers.

Tony Goldwyn (The Last Samurai, From the Earth to the Moon) returns in the dual roles of twins Greg and Rick Knowles that he originated in last seasons Doppelganger episode on April 1, 2004.

Jack is sickened to learn that Rick Knowles -- whom Jack believes pinned his own murders on his currently imprisoned twin brother, Greg, five months prior -- has become a part-time director at the shelter where yet another homeless woman has just disappeared. Though the team investigates Ned, the missing womans former boyfriend -- an ex-junkie shelter volunteer with whom she recently had a public altercation -- Jack is convinced that Ned is being framed by Rick. Meanwhile, Jack and Samantha attempt to get Greg to reveal information that may implicate his brother, as the cocky Rick begins to make a case for releasing his brother -- with the ironic argument that the true murderer is clearly still on the loose.
