"Episode 308" - Witness the all-new and exciting makeovers of Valerie, a 43-year-old housewife from Bland, MO and Mary, a 35-year-old third grade teacher from Southfield, MI, on "Extreme Makeover," THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Valerie and Mary were given a life changing experience, as they were able to change their looks in an effort to transform their lives and destinies and to make their dreams come true. This was all accomplished through the skills of an "Extreme Team," including plastic surgeons, eye surgeons and cosmetic dentists, along with a talented team of hair and makeup artists, stylists and personal trainers. In addition, participants recuperate at the "Makeover Mansion," the new luxurious mansion tucked away in the Hollywood Hills, CA, complete with stunning views, a swimming pool, fully equipped home gym and plasma televisions.

Reclusive housewife Valerie has always shunned interacting with the public because of her appearance and insecurities. Since her marriage and raising her four kids -- Neal (18), Whitney (15), Daniel (14) and George (11) -- Valerie has grown accustomed to her stay-at-home routine, comfortable in her solitary cooking and cleaning. Now that their teenaged kids are growing up, Valerie would like to see what life is like beyond her white picket fence, and so turns to the Extreme Team to give her the chance to transform from homely to hottie.

Valerie's procedures included face and neck lift, nose job, brow lift, upper and lower eyelid lift, chemical peel to lower eyelids and fat injections to the cheeks and lips during the first surgery; breast lift, tummy tuck and liposuction of hips and thighs during second surgery; plus vascular laser for rosacea, treatment of excessive oil glands, chemical peel, acne surgery, LASIK eye surgery, 14 da Vinci porcelain veneers, one da Vinci porcelain bridge and Zoom whitening.

But while she's given so much to others, she's neglected herself and her appearance. Mary not only gets an A+ makeover by the Extreme Team; at her reveal, she also gets a surprise from Chris when he asks for her hand in marriage!
