IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS ON THE SPECIAL HOLIDAY EDITION OF ABC'S "AMERICA'S FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS"

"Episode No. 1408" -- Christmas morning chaos with videos of gifts that go haywire; side-splitting Santa clips set to holiday music; a bah humbug bear who breaks into a tent and makes off with campers' food; outrageous reactions to fake lotto tickets; and Santa vs. the Easter Bunny are all among the highlights of a special holiday edition of the hilarious reality series, "America's Funniest Home Videos," FRIDAY, DECEMBER 24 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. The videos, submitted by viewers, offer big laughs and the chance for viewers to win big money. Every week throughout the season, $15,000 in prize money will be awarded: $10,000 for the clip the studio audience chooses as its favorite, $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for the third place winner. Special $100,000 grand prizes will be awarded during the season to video buffs whose wildly funny or unusual video clips are judged favorites by studio audiences.

In its 14 seasons to date, "America's Funniest Home Videos" has given away over $7 million in prize money and evaluated more than half a million videotapes from home viewers.
