"The Work of Art" -- The lies start to snowball when John lies to Art to get him to work for him at his mother's request, on CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE, Wednesday, Jan. 5 (9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Andy Ackerman directed the episode from a script by Eric Zicklin.

When Marge confidentially tells John that Art seems depressed since he retired, John makes up a story to get Art to come to work with him. However, Art's domineering presence at work forces John lie to Tommy about why Art's there and Marge's desire to spend every moment of her new spare time with Kate makes Kate lie to get out of a date with her. Finally, John confronts his mother who may have told the biggest lie of all.
